Bought some drinks and sour plums at NTUC before departing.
Took bus RWS 8 outside harbourfront. $2 each round trip.
That blur sotong Javier went to tap the ezlink even though i told
him not to. :(
Reached there too early...
Thought it opened at 9 a.m but that's only for the ticket offices.
As usual, Javier needs to go poop poop first.....
Took photos to pass time.
Look! Javin's face is as round as the Universal Globe!
And its bigger than the entire Australia continent! It looks like a
Gaia-eclipse viewed from space.
And off we go! Running into the park as the gates opened...
First stop. Battlestar Galactica Ride (Cylons).
But you need to put ALL belongings into the locker first. Not even
your wallet that is safely tucked into the pockets. At least the locker is
free for a stipulated time subject to the rides. All u need is to enter your
date of birth and favourite colour into a terminal to operate the lockers.
Up up and away!!! The Cylons ride is much better than the humans ride.
Being so kiasu, we took them about 5 times during the trip. The funny thing is
the more exciting the ride, the shorter the waiting time. Its almost instantaneous
to take this ride.
Next ride, the Mummy. One of my personal favorites cos it's air-conditioned
inside.
Stupid ride. I got all drenched down to my underwear....
Even my spare clothings in the bag got wet.
Lunch. All of us ate laksa....
By this time, we have already took most of the rides. So its retaking
all the rides again after lunch.
Water rationing in progress. Can almost hear Javier's nagging for water
while seeing this pic.... Oh, the horror.....
We stink by now.....
Went to watch Shrek 4D and the Underwater World show and the
movies special effects room.
Refreshments before cleaning up and going home:
Afterthoughts:
Will I be going back to USS soon? The answer is no. Most if not all the
rides are exactly the same as the other rides in other Universal Studios from
years ago. With the exception of the battlestar galatica, which is basically just a
glorified roller coaster, there's nothing new to experience if you have already been
to Universal Studios in the last decade.
