Took Air Asia flight to Bali at Changi Terminal 1 departing at 4.40 pm.

Touched down at Bali Denpasar Airport at 7.40 p.m. Took taxi to Novotel Benoa Bali.

Valerie and me found the ride too mild but some people whose identity shall remain
unmentioned screamed and screamed... LOL
Went back to hotel at around 4 plus. Wanted to take banana boat
but it was too late. So ended up playing ping pong and at the beach in the hotel.

A holiday is never complete without making fun of the kids (Javier especially...)
No banana boat and so we ended up making some sand animals at the beach instead.

Next morning....Raining..
Wanted to sleep but Valerie wanted to try water sports.
No, we did not try Jetski.... Only banana boat.
Took banana boat with Valerie.
This is the new type of banana boat. Very very stable so not as fun :(
We only got flung off once... So disappointed...

Started raining so we took shelter and put on rain coats.

After cycling for 2.5 hours and 25 km....

Then return to lady bamboo to wash up and had tea at the poolside.
Then go walk walk and dinner at Nomad.
Complimentary bread.
I ordered steak. Bery Bery nice.
Next morning, breakfast at Cafe Lotus.
Mushroom Egg Omelet.
Back to Denpasar Airport after breakfast. Some ppl sleep till....

GENTING TRIP 11 to 14 Nov 2010
Wasn't expecting anything for this trip as it was more to accompany Mum to her
favorite Genting to quench her Jackpot craze.
Left at 6.45 a.m and took bus 240 to boon lay market.
Boarded the bus (26 seater) at 7.20a.m and started the journey.
Ok, the bus was quite spacious and comfy, definitely better than taking a plane.
Reached Yong Peng at about 9a.m and had Fishball Kway Teow.
(Not Berry Nice). No lard to enhance the flavour. Mum had Mee Soto
which tasted much better.
Reached Genting at 1.50 p.m
BAD BAD START
Even though we booked low season, the check in counter was full of people.
It is more like queueing in Polyclinic with queueing slips and the exact same signboards.
There were 150 people in front of me. After waiting for maybe 20 minutes or so,
we decided to have our lunch first.
My curry chicken noodles at about RM 15. Taste average only.
Mum's steamed chicken rice. She says so so only.
After i finished, i rushed back to the counter while mum waited at the restaurant.
The queue number only moved by 30 since we were gone! I still have to wait like 100 more!!!
The whole process took 2.5 hours and i was literally bursting with anger.
Played a bit of Jackpot then dinner at Kenny Rogers.
Tastes so much better than our lunch and is not expensive too.
TURN FOR THE BETTER
Mother went to casino first while i bought a 11.30 p.m movie ticket at RM12 only.
After buying ticket, joined mum in casino.
Anyhow chose a machine and hit the mini-jackpot on first try!
Played that machine for one hour and hit moni-jackpot 3 more times!!!
Mood now totally changed for the better. Think Won RM200 then
went to movie. Even have potato chips included.
Next morning, as usual, i slept late while Mum gambled. Think she lost RM100 - RM200 liao.
Braised chicken feet with mushroom noodles.
My dumplings noodles soup. Used GP points to offset the meal.
Went casino play a while. Since my objective is not to gamble, i made off
once i won RM 50 and went to karaoke from 12 p.m to 3p.m.
Comes with 2 beer.
Found this game and anyhow played. Very cute game and got me addicted. But win RM50 only.
Dinner buffet at Hotpot.
Actually dun taste very nice lah.
Back to casino.
I keep winning! This time win another RM 200.
Got 50 free games etc, hit so many cows and escaped with another RM200 winnings.
Went back to room, mum counted her moolah and think she lost about RM 100 or 200.
Next morning, before checkout.
Brunch.
Curry Chicken and Chicken Rice redeemed with GP vouchers for FREE!
Left 1 hour, went back to play the invaders from planet moolah game.
Helped mum play, this time won RM 300. Loved that game so much.
Oh no i am addicted too.
Then took bus back. This time is sitting the Super VIP 20 seater.
Reached home at 10 p.m.
Anyway, i exchanged RM700 to return with RM750 and Mum returned
with about RM 150 to 200 more.
So winning the jackpot and having all the food for free kinda makes this the
best genting trip i never expected.
