The Month of July 2010

Movies & TV Nites

Have the sudden urge to recatch those old movies so bought the Aliens Quadrilogy Set from Zavvi website to watch on free days with mom.  Watched it over 2 weeks during Sundays and Mondays night.

Also rewatched the following films:

Somehow, with the exception of the 4 movies Aliens Quadrilogy Set, the rest of the movies doesn't seem as good now.  Maybe have higher expectations liao :(

As for other shows:

Mother bought some Korean dramas so just joined in to watch for a while.  The first disc is interesting and it starts to get real bad after the first disc.  Thank God i gave up after the second disc.  But the show does get you thinking about some serious things in life......... like how just wasted the the 8 hours of your life is gone from the crappy show.....

The next show....

Ok. The above show is a pleasant surprise.  Was just lazing in the room for 15 minutes while mom was watching it and ended watching this series to the end.  Very funny and cute show.  Maybe I can read this page 10 years later and decide to watch it again. :)

Video Games

My Nintendo Wii has been gathering dust for months until i decided to fiddle around with it.  And luckily this game doesn't disappoint.  "My Life As a Darklord" is an unique tower defence game and somehow tower defence games are always so addictive.....

Final Fantasy 13, bought it from Zavvi website during an offer.

Well, amazing graphics and not that "fun".  But still playing it slowly to get back the money worth...... :P
May take a few months to complete this slowly.

Had the tom yum noodles from stonegrill as in the first post.  Note: Never order kway teow soup as it
will be overly cooked till super soggy by the stonegrill long before you can finish it.

Teabreak is @ PizzaHut.  2 personal pan pizzas, garlic bread, 2 drinks and 2 soup all for $8.40 sing.



Had soup at Tang Shifu same place so no pics.  Note:  To order the Tien Chi Soup as it taste the best among the 3 soups we ordered so far.

The way back........

Abandoned at the Malaysia customs by the stupid bus :(  ......
Had to wait 30 minutes for the next bus.
Note:  The bus don't wait for passengers anymore, better not be even 3 seconds slower than the passenger b4 you........
